Hello. I’m Roger Stewart and this is my Random Treasure website.
About me: I’m a Londoner resident in Scotland since 1967. In so-called retirement I do voluntary work, currently as Membership Secretary of the Scottish Pottery Society and as a tour guide for the National Trust for Scotland at Newhailes House, a magnificent Palladian villa in Musselburgh, East Lothian.
But most of my time is taken up in realising my two secret lifetime ambitions – to become an antique dealer and to become an author.
When I used to go to work, I was a public sector manager turned business consultant turned small business owner. I have an MA degree in English Language and Literature from the University of St Andrews and an MBA degree from the University of Edinburgh. And I have professional qualifications in corporate governance and in marketing.
I live in Edinburgh with my wife Frances. We have two lovely daughters and five perfect grandchildren.
